[Dxspider-support] AX-25 compile help needed

I am attempting to migrate spider from an old machine (RedHat 6 ) to my 
new Centos5 server.
Everything is good with the exception of getting the AX25-tools to 
compile. It fails due to soundmodem not being included in the kernel 
sources any longer and for the life of me, I can not get it to compile.
Anyone that has overcome this and would lend some guidance, I would 
really appreciate it.
