     Dirk, It's possible to change mrtg to RRDtool in a future?... I think that this software is the evolution of MRTG and its also OpenSource, and the author is same as MRTG. http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool

     I have also troubles with MRTG and Spider under Debian v4.
