Get the latest spider tree from the website
(http://www.dxcluster.org/download/CVSlatest.tgz) into /tmp and then
login as the sysop user
$ cd /
$ tar xvfz /tmp/CVSlatest.tgz
You should find that it all magically works again.
Have a look at http://www.dxcluster.org/download if you get stuck.
