[Dxspider-support] Invalid Command on Node Connect

Sorry for the abruptness in the last email Lee, frustration had set in, I
know that all the emails have been to help and I thank each of you. Now the
results:
I was trying some alterations of Lee VE7CC suggestion. I typed in set/spider
PA4JJ and when I looked up at the screen and saw "login was reset to old
style normal PC92" (not exactly what it said but it got away from me before
I got it copied and this email sent). I have emailed Jan PA4JJ to see if he
was working on it from his end as well. I have not heard from Jan as of yet.
Not sure what the old style login is but right now pa4jj is connected as a
partner node. Any explanations or assumptions would be appreciated.
Lee I wonder if this was the same problem when I was trying to use your node
as a partner node? Just a thought
Thanks
Roger

Hi Roger
I think your problem is that you are confusing VE7CC and VE7CC-1 and
also PA4JJ and PA4JJ-1. You must have exactly the correct call in all
the proper places. Close is not good enough.
If you are connected to PA4JJ-1, you will not be talking to PA4JJ as per
the example you gave.
