I ran my node wireless for a while without any issues like that, but
did notice some issues newtorking the Directv receiver in the
bedroom. It turned out to be a pretty poor path going through a
couple of exterior walls which have foil-backed insulation. I
replaced the wireless with HomePlug powerline ethernet (which is ham-
friendly) and that works a lot better. I also now use that for the
connection to my node. About a year ago I switched from DSL to
Clearwire Wi-Max for my internet connection and had to locate the
modem where it looks through a window instead of the wall itself.
