I don't use PC12 as such. I think what you are saying is: don't pass on
PC12.
The problem is that there are ~130 AR Cluster boxes out there which use
PC12 (there are a few other makes of software, but are relatively small
in number). Also there are some legacy DXSpider nodes and so I downgrade
PC93 to PC12 for them.
The alternatives would seem be to:
a) ignore incoming PC12 completely.
b) ignore PC12 from DXSpider nodes only.
c) both ignore PC12 and not downgrade PC93.
As to the problem that started this thread, it is an FAQ and the
solution is:
rm /spider/data/dupefile
restart the node
