and I am still a little unclear. This is his message to me.

I hate to say it but the documentation is certainly not very clear.  I
know that I told you that DxSpider is my favorite but the last time I
used it (several years ago) I just clicked on this or that and done.  Not
that easy now.

Now I read the docs this morning. I see that you have to use acceptfilter
and reject filter. Is there an easy way to achieve this? Can I make rule
shortcuts that will make it easier?
