Jesus, Today we have had an outage at the university so the server has been unreachable for a few hours, sorry for any inconvenience.

Electricity came back at about 1130 UTC so, now you should be able to connect without problems.

By the way, DXSpider has been running here for:

1327132047^-> D SP1RKT Cluster: 381 nodes, 75 local / 3344 total users  Max users 6616  Uptime 311 14:30

311 days... running on openSUSE 11.3, it's been a pity that the UPS hasn't been able to keep the system running during the outage :(

  Subject: [Dxspider-support] Connection lost problem

       Hello all, I am Jesus EA7UU

       Today my cluster lost the connection with ED7ZAB-5, PING command have no response.

  When DXSpider run the crontab, it tries to connect to ED7ZAB-5 but this cluster (this morning) have no response; the cluster "stop" sending the spots and all echoes to all users, and after about 3 minutes the Spider back to normality. The commands or RETURN during this 3 minute have response after the cluster back to normality. For now, I removed the connection to ED7ZAE-5.

  My cluster run under Debian v5, DXSpider version 1.55 (build 0.100 git: 84fb1f6).

  This is the output on the debug file:

  1327133127^cron: 5 8 21 1 6 -> doing 'start_connect('ed7zab-5') if !connected('ed7zab-5')'
  1327133127^connect 398: timeout set to 60
  1327133127^connect 398: timeout set to 15
  1327133127^CONNECT 398 sort: telnet command: dx.ea7urc.org 8000
  1327133317^***Connect 398 Failed to dx.ea7urc.org 8000 Expir%F3 el tiempo de conexi%F3n (add by EA7UU: Expired the connection time)
  1327133317^cmd run: connect ed7zab-5
  1327133317^cmd out: Se inicia la conexi%F3n a ED7ZAB-5 (add by EA7UU: Starting connection to ED7ZAB-5)
  1327133317^cron: 5 8 21 1 6 -> doing 'run_cmd('mrtg all') '
  1327133318^cmd run: mrtg all

  This is the connection script:

  timeout 15
  connect telnet dx.ea7urc.org 8000
  'login:' 'ea7urm-5'
  client ed7zab-5 telnet

  and this is the crontab file:

  0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 * * * * start_connect('ed7zab-5') if !connected('ed7zab-5')

  I apologize for my english.
