[Dxspider-support] typical monthly data usage

I moved KL7G.org DX Spider cluster to a friend's house about three weeks
ago. They were very surprised when their internet bill went from $60 to
$150.   We will call the ISP Monday about why such a big increase in cost.  

 

Is there an estimate for the amount of monthly data in and out of a cluster?
What might be typical?   I would  assume it is very small compared to almost
any other activity on the internet.
