Hi Dirk,
thanks for your reply.

Yes, I remember from one of your previous message from some years ago, 
related to connecting a spider node to an AR-C one, your reccomendation 
to set the ARC node as isolated due to the problmens you menctioned.

I've done the set/pinginterval command, but when I do the 'WHO' command, 
I still see the 999 to the Ave RTT for that node.
