Hi Saki (and Greg and group), I've found that it's easier to understand and then to set 'reject'
spot filters rather than 'accept' filters; I use the following:

filter0 accept on 1800/54000 and by g0hdb
filter1 reject on 4m or on 2m or on 70cm or on shf
filter2 reject on hf and not by_zone 14
filter3 reject on hf and (by_zone 14,15 and call_zone 14,15)

These separate filters do various jobs, but for Saki's purposes it should be possible to define
one or more reject filters to get rid of the unwanted spots on all the bands above 4m. For
example, entering 'reject/spot on 2m or on 70cm or on shf' should do the trick.

My 'filter2' means that I only receive HF spots that have originated in zone 14 - I'm not usually
interested in seeing HF spots originating in, for example, NA or JA, because their
propagation will almost certainly be completely different to mine so I'm unlikely to be able to
copy a DX station that has been spotted by someone in the USA.

Similarly, 'filter3' means that I don't receive HF spots that have originated in zones 14 or 15
and are for stations in those same zones - I have no interest whatsoever in seeing spots
originating in say Spain for a station in Germany.

Feel free to adopt these filters to suit your own purposes and needs!!
