[Dxspider-support] DB Stopped updating

Something tells me that you are not listening on port 3306? An artefact
of doing an update? Unless you have configured your /etc/mysql/my.cnf
(or used the Debian method involving putting files in directories), they
may have changed to defaults to just using a unix socket. Or, if you are
not using port 3306 and actually using port 12345, then something will
have overwritten your mysql  config.

A quick 'netstat -nap | grep mysql' should tell what mysqld is listening to.
