Hi Jim, thanks for the feedback - I had already thought of using the http:// URL to get the files 
and as you've indicated it worked successfully so the CTY.DAT and WPXLOC.RAW files on 
my node is fully up-to-date again.

Before trying the http:// option I'd updated the certificates on my system using the following 
command:

sudo update-ca-certificates -- fresh

This seemed to run successfully but then when I tried to get the CTY and WPXLOC files via 
the https:// URL I still got the SSL/TLS error message so perhaps I need to update something 
else on my system to enable the download from the https:// URL to work.  Anyone got any 
suggestions?!
