[Dxspider-support] Login and passwords REQUIRED to connect to CX2SA-8 DXSpider

I run a CC Cluster node. The software does not support passwords and therefore cannot comply with the request. I will remove partnering connections to anyone who requests it. No ifs and buts.
That said, IMHO, passwords are a solution to a problem that does not exist. Are end users actually complaining? What do they want?
Sure, it is exciting to track down this and that node, but the big picture is that the cluster network is working just fine. Human generated spots, compared to software generated spots, are a tiny fraction of the total number of spots, not even a rounding error. And the number of deliberately bad spots must be microscopic; has anyone quantified them? How many daily fraudulent spots are there? Look at https://pskreporter.info/cgi-bin/pskstats.pl to understand the volume of spots that do not originate from humans.
But let's assume for a moment that bad partners are a huge problem that needs to be solved immediately. How are you goin to ensure that ALL first, second, third level partners support passwords? Unless EVERYONE is requiring passwords, doing it inconsistently doesn't achieve anything to reduce the attack surface. According to DXCluster.info, there are 719 AR-Cluster, CC Cluster, and DXSpider nodes as of today.
Then let's take it a step further- somehow you figure out to only have DXSpider nodes in the network. This means that end users have no choice and must only connect to spiders. Doesn't sound very user friendly.
Again, I respect the decision of any node operator that would ask me to remove the peering arrangement.

Hello dear Partner:
I have several partners whose emails do notwork or who didn’t answer.
In a few days CX2SA-8 DXSpider WILL NOTACCEPT connections from partners without Login and Password.
Please send me a PRIVATE EMAIL with thesuggested password.
Those nodes that do not meet thisrequirement will be removed without notice.
Thank you very much.
Best 73, Jose – CX2SA
