Hello guys,
I agree with and support what Tobias just wrote.
It's also worth to keep in mind that most of the web clusters need user
registration in order to post spots.
On top of that: credentials are passed via https instead of clear text as
in telnet; credentials are stored in databases with hashes; each
account/callsign is tied to an email address.
I've been running dxwatch since 2005, and has user authentication since the
very first moment.
We might find a viable solution to solve this.
