[Dxspider-support] number of users

Hello!

A bit difficult question. Is there a way to get number of users on a cluster
without loging to a node? Maybe somehow with perl? By looking into some
file? This would be run from system crontab to monitor number of users with
MRTG (www.mrtg.org) to get something like
http://cs.prbox.com/mrtg/users.html (this is taken from something completely
else but is good for example).
