Erm... run_cmd is a standard DXSpider feature. It isn't anything to do
with any dos/windows/linux command with some similar name. If run_cmd
did not work, then nobody would be able to run any command, of any sort,
(eg: sh/dx) on your system.

Please attach the contents of your /spider/local_cmd/crontab to your
reply, so we can look at it.
