[Dxspider-support] Spider on Mandrake

Dan:
Mine's running on 10.1 right now.  However, I have experienced a problem 
where my node seems to "stall" for 5-8 minutes.  It does not crash. 
Everything just backs up and then all the spots come spewing forth.  It 
seems to happen only during the loading of contests.
I think I've also observed the same symptoms on another Mandrake-based node.
