 Hi,

When doing the git install it is important that the /spider directory
 is absolute empty.
When a new home directory is created the settings and files for the
default directory are created. This can be .bash* files if you are using
 bash as a default interface.
It is important to do rm * and rm .* (in this sequence).

The git command should be run from a directory higher then the /spider
directory, so that is were the cd .. is for.

There is a difference between MSWindows and unix, unix is case
sensitive, also in its commands. CD is another command as cd , also the
cd.. would work in MS windows, but not in unix, there you really have to
use a space between the cd and the .. : cd .. .
