[Dxspider-support] Is 'dx by <callsign>' now past its "use by" date?

Is there any need any more for the 'dx by G1TLH 7003 G7BRN' style of 
'dx' command? The only time I can find its actual use "recently" and 
then (very likely) maliciously was (only) twice in the last CQWW contest 
last month.
