Hi All

I need some help with this and when you answer this, consider the fact that
many of us do not work in this environment. We we understand what is going
on, there are big gaps in the intricacies of the solution.

Personally, I am not a GIT user at all. But, I have no problem working in
Linux?

Part of the other challenge is trying to search through all the emails to
find the answer I was looking for regarding updating. I found some
answers, but there is so much noise is it hard to understand exactly what
is correct.

That being said, consider this an Elmering mount for some of us. The only
1 word answer I will accept is "yes". If no, please describe what I missed
or what I need to do so I can learn from it.

Am I up to date?

va3mw.dxcluster.org. If I do a sh/ver, I have:

DXSpider v1.55 (build 249 git: master/2fc6c64f[r]) using perl v5.28.1 on
Linux

If I ssh in and do a

sysop at va3mw-cluster:~ $ *cd spider*
sysop at va3mw-cluster:~/spider $ *git reset --hard*
HEAD is now at 9fb58f4a add CTY-3304

sysop at va3mw-cluster:~/spider $* git pull*

Already up to date.

I have this in crontab:

# Automaticlly check for update at 02:20 on Tuesday morning and then apply
at 02:30
# Note, this restarts the node so will disconnect all sessions

20 02 * * 2 spawn("cd /spider; git reset --hard; git pull")
30 02 * * 2 run_cmd('shutdown’)

Thanks in advance!
