[Dxspider-support] Public IPs of nodes like "localhost"

Come on guys play nice! If I, an American, can follow along then tech has
dome a fine job helping to remove language barriers.
Rick, we understand your frustration. You are not the only sysop who is
having trouble. Yes, there is lots to follow. However, choosing to run a
public service (even voluntarily) is like any other service digital or
physical. If you want to stay present and useful it takes work, time, and
dedication to provide for the users. No matter what software you use.
Perhaps inviting a fellow ham to help administer the node would help
relieve some of the stress and help educate/mentor another ham.
Recent events have caused necessary changes in the way the cluster is
operating. Almost all of the events we have experienced have been due to a
lack of evolution with the networks and risks involved around the cluster.
I am speaking from a cyber security point of view. To be realistic, we are
lucky this is all we have seen. It could be so much worse should the
cluster become the target of malicious actors. Dirk is doing everything he
can to keep everyone involved, but there will come a time when obsolete
nodes will have to be purged. Please, understand these changes are not made
to frustrate the sysops but to provide the best service we can to the users
(our friends and comrades).
Please, think about joining the Discord server (link is on the wiki or I
can send it to you). Perhaps someone can work one on one with you to help.
73, Chris WI3W
