[Dxspider-support] Maximum number of all variations G1TLH (included ssids, prefixes, suffixes the whole nine yards)

Hi,

I believe the session limit per user should not exceed 10.

For DX enthusiasts, one session per band could be configured for monitoring,
which would be an extreme case. Therefore, 10 might be a reasonable limit.

If we analyze this from the node perspective, considering the network has
approximately 600 nodes:

1. For a fully meshed network, each node requires 599 links.
2. To ensure minimum connectivity, each node should have at least 2 links.
3. To improve redundancy without being fully meshed, each node should have,
on average, about 9 links.

However, our topology should lean toward option 3, and since we chose a
fairly extreme starting point (600 nodes), 9 is more than sufficient.

Note:
The value provided comes from network and graph theory to estimate the
minimum redundant connectivity in a distributed network.
log2(600) ? 9 links per node

Suggestions for a number please.

I'm afraid the time has come to limit the number of connections a (base)
callsigns can have. A base callsign being G1TLH. Anything attached (e.g
W/G1TLH/0-4) will be stripped off for this maximum. For a non-normalised
callsigns the current limit is 1, locally and 3 across the whole cluster. I
would happy to increase this because, unless someone can give me good
reasons not to, it will become a HARD limit for the said base callsign and
ALL its variations - and not changeable locally.

There is too much rubbish and wilful prating about going on and that needs
to be stamped out. This limit will apply to both nodes and users.
